In 1994, Kiwanis International adopted a project called "Iodine — the Kiwanis Solution" designed to eliminate iodine deficiency (IDD) disorders as a world health problem by the year 2000. Our club was very sctive in this effort. Kiwanis International's current worldwide service project is eliminating maternal neonatal tetanus (MPT) in the world's children. Again we are involved and raising funds for this project.
